Congrats to you and good for you on standing up for yourself. I did something similar a few months ago and it feels very freeing.

I would join in on this. It would just take a big block of time as well as other specifics, though.

General Discussion / Re: What if EA owned IG?

- PM's are $1 per line, after paying the initial $4.99 start-up fee for each conversation.
- Avatars are $4.99 on both chatango and the forums, and you can only choose pre-made avatars sponsored by EA.
- It costs $6.99 for a streamer to give somebody a shout-out on stream, and the money goes to EA (need that 4-ply TP in the VIP CEO restroom over at EA HQ).
- You say you want sound on your stream? $10 subscription monthly, does not include special events like Drunkstreams, etc.
- EA co-sponsors with Skrillex so every time one of his songs is played it costs $19.99. For every mention that "Skrillex is my favorite band" in Chatango, you receive 10% off your fee.

Arcade games and pinball machines are not the same when emulated. I noticed how different Ms. Pac-Man (one of my favorites) runs when being played with a controller vs a joystick.

One of my favorite arcades that is currently still in business is on the boardwalk in Ocean City. The front of the Arcade changes with the times - DDR, Guitar Hero, etc. The arcade is L shaped, and in the back of the L, they still have a lot of old/original arcade machines - Centipede, Xmen, Simpsons, Captain America, Mario Bros, Pac-Man... Lately I noticed that the older machines are dwindling down (I assume due to wearing out), but it still is a cool arcade and one of my favorite places ever.

Yes, I do. And I have someplace that I could go and play it right now for 25c a play. :)

I would be interested in co-streaming this. I played a little bit of this solo back in December as filler, but it'd be fun to play it legitimately.

If RDMT doesn't want the request, I'd play it.

I would change the main video as often as we upload new videos, putting the newest video up on the main page. At a glance, if the video doesn't change it could have the perception of no new material.

Also, Here are some other tools I've used personally

Great for calorie counting and giving yourself a dietary journal

I second this. To anyone who isn't massively into exercising, can't get a gym membership, whatever the case may be... you can lose weight simply by changing your diet. Physical activity does help and is the way to get toned, but don't feel like you need to do hours of exercise in order to lose weight.

The food journal can be kind of tedious and it's up to you to log in every day and fill it out honestly, but it is a great way to really look at what you're eating and how much.  It's also nice to see that you don't necessarily need to go vegetarian or never eat sweets again in order to lose weight - you just need to portion it appropriately and watch what you eat. Then once you figure out a food plan that works for you, you may not need to rely on the journal so much.

I could do this as a one-shot on part of a stream. I don't know how fun it would be for me, or anybody to watch but I'll consider it.

I do play non-JRPG games but the problem is I fly through platformers within 1 or 2 streams, while the JRPGs take me around a month or more to complete. Maybe that's why people notice those more. There are also other games that I would like to play, but are not possible at this time (due to dibs, others streaming it, tech issues, etc.). I also have kind of a tough time keeping up with chat when I'm playing a platformer, and I feel a little bad for not responding sometimes.

I am open to playing other game genres, so please keep suggesting them! I have an off-site document I keep a running tab of requested games in, so I'll get around to the requests. At the very least, I am trying to alternate JRPGs and "other" types of games.

Of the currently 13 games I've played and completed, the following are not JRPGs: Bubble Bobble, Super Metroid, Kirby's Adventure, Sonic 3, Sonic & Knuckles, Donkey Kong Country, Castle Crashers, and Castlevania SotN. So I'm about 50/50 for JRPGs vs "other" kinds of games.
