I second this. To anyone who isn't massively into exercising, can't get a gym membership, whatever the case may be... you can
lose weight simply by changing your diet. Physical activity does help and is the way to get toned, but don't feel like you need to do hours of exercise in order to lose weight.
The food journal can be kind of tedious and it's up to you to log in every day and fill it out honestly, but it is a great way to really look at what you're eating and how much. It's also nice to see that you don't necessarily need to go vegetarian or never eat sweets again in order to lose weight - you just need to portion it appropriately and watch what you eat. Then once you figure out a food plan that works for you, you may not need to rely on the journal so much.
