Comedian vs Magician

Which one would be harder to become famous as?

I say Magician and Tux says Comedian.

What are your thoughts?

Its gotta be magician these days, its a dying form of entertainment as it is and to become famous you need to do something no-one else has done before.  Whereas people like Carlos Mencia rip off loads of peoples material and still get famous.

What Noxnn said, but also consider this: Name as many magicians as you can. Now name as many comedians as you can - this includes comedic actors. The numbers should make it very clear.

i said comedian because you really need some good jokes to actually get alot of people to like you. Making people laugh is way harder then it actually looks like. And magicians just can buy there tricks and use a bit more money for the extrem show around the trick and your done.

Magician. It's a lot harder to come up with/steal tricks than it is to come up with/steal jokes.

I voted comedian.
To be a magician all you have to do is study up on illusions and the human mind and shit. To be a comedian you have to have originality, good flow, people have to be able to understand what you're saying/referencing and it's something that is really popular and very competitive whereas magicians are just doing retarded hookie pookie things and shit. No one cares much about originality and understanding there nor is it as competitive as comedy. And I don't mean stand-up comedy alone. That counds for TV skits and books, and what else.
